Is it legal to dump fresh water from an RV?
Even clean-looking water may be regulated; use an approved drain or disposal point and never choose a storm drain by default.
Short answer
The answer depends on what you mean by fresh water and where you are. Potable water from a clean tank may still be regulated when discharged, and gray water can contain soaps or food residue. Use an approved sewer or wastewater disposal point, follow campground and local rules, and never release water onto a roadway, into a storm drain, or near a waterway unless the authority explicitly permits it.
